Do we take insurance?
Great question. It deserves a proper answer.
The short answer is no — Chiro Shack works directly with you instead, at simple prices that are usually lower than a co-pay. And if you still want your visits credited to your insurance, we'll give you a superbill any time. Here's why most people end up preferring it.
The short version
What a visit actually costs you
Member visit, with us
$25
Every visit. No deductible first.
Typical insurance co-pay
$30–50
Often only after your deductible is met.
Membership
$19/mo
Not required — without it a visit is $52.
Co-pays vary by plan; $30–50 is a typical range, not a quote.
Why most people come out ahead
It isn't just the price. It's a different — and simpler — way of taking care of yourself.
Often less than a co-pay
A member visit is $25. A typical chiropractic co-pay runs $30 to $50 — and that's after you've met your deductible.
No visit caps
Membership gives you the member rate on every visit, as often as you and your doctor decide. Nobody counts your visits against a yearly limit.
Family makes it even cheaper
Add your partner for $29/mo total, or cover the whole household on the Family plan for $39/mo — every person at the member rate.
No costly exam just to justify a claim
Insurance billing usually starts with an expensive exam to justify the claim, then limits what you can receive. We skip the paperwork and get to the care.
Just you and your doctor
No middle person deciding what you can or can't have. Your care plan is a conversation between you and your doctor — nobody else.
Simple is more enjoyable
You know the price before you walk in. No wondering what was billed, what was accepted, or what letter shows up next month.
Think of it like maintenance on your car
You don't wait for the engine to fail before you change the oil. Chiropractic works best the same way: regular, affordable care that aims to keep small problems small — so you're less likely to end up needing the expensive kind of care that insurance is really for, like imaging, specialists or surgery.
Step 1
Regular tune-ups
Affordable visits you can actually keep up with.
Step 2
Fewer breakdowns
Catch tightness and strain before it becomes an injury.
Step 3
Save insurance for the big stuff
Keep your coverage for what it's built for.
Care for the whole family — not just whoever hurts the most
When every visit runs through insurance, families tend to ration care to the one person with the biggest problem. At our prices, everyone can come — the kids, your partner, and the person who "feels fine" but sits at a desk all day.
The Family plan is $39/mo for the household, and every visit is the member rate.
Example: a family of four
One visit each. Visit as often as you need at the same member rate.
Still want it to count toward your deductible? No problem.
Some people want the lower price and the insurance credit. You can have both: we'll give you a superbill — an itemized receipt with the codes insurers ask for — any time you like.
- 1Come inPay the simple price at your visit.
- 2Ask for a superbillAny time — from your patient portal or at the desk.
- 3Submit it yourselfSend it to your insurance company for credit.
Whether a superbill counts toward your deductible or gets reimbursed is up to your insurance company's rules — which we don't make, and can't promise. Visit receipts can usually be paid from an HSA or FSA too. On Medicare? It works differently, so just ask us.

Your first step is just picking a time. No insurance card, no pre-approval, no surprise bill — just you and your doctor.
